Join Alexandria Celebrates Women for ACW Salon, a monthly gathering of leading women thinkers and changemakers in a setting designed to spark conversation and collaboration. The next Salon takes place Thursday, April 18 featuring Debbie Evans, the Division Chief of the City of Alexandria Sexual Assault Center and Domestic Violence Program; and Kate Garvey, director of the City of Alexandria's Department of Community and Human Services.
In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Alexandria Celebrates Women, in partnership with Christopher Thomas Works, Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN), and the City of Alexandria, will plant a Pinwheel Garden at Charles Hill Park on Friday, April 12 at 11:30 a.m.
The Alexandria Domestic Violence Safehouse supports over 50 women and their children each year by providing shelter plus needed support when they are ready to leave the Safehouse. Join us in supporting these brave women during Alexandria Celebrates Women's Shower for the Safehouse to help restock needed items.
Alexandria Celebrates Women (ACW) ia an alll-volunteer 501(c)(3) with a two-fold mission: to raise money for the Alexandria Domestic Violence Safehouse and recognize the accomplishments and contributions of Alexandria, Virginia’s women of the past, present and future.
